Edmund Hillary Fellowship

For her continued innovation and thought leadership in the global education sector, The Learner First CEO Joanne McEachen has been selected as a Fellow by the Edmund Hillary Fellowship (EHF), a network of leaders and entrepreneurs committed to incubating solutions to global problems in Aotearoa (New Zealand), and to making a lasting positive impact on the world.

As the world continues to seek answers and ways forward through the COVID-19 pandemic, EHF is placing its focus on “retraining Kiwis for tomorrow’s jobs, future proofing our economy by accelerating climate innovations, and building a confident and internationally connected nation.” Drawing from her expansive global network and years of educational leadership in her home country of New Zealand and beyond, Joanne will work with EHF to provide mentorship support to educators and business owners, to create job opportunities across the New Zealand education sector, and to make purposeful improvements to New Zealand’s education system built around learners’ contributions to the world.
